There are seven of Williams’ films on the UK iTunes chart, including two in the Top 20 —; Good Morning Vietnam and Good Will Hunting. Sitting in the No. 100 spot is Aladdin, in which Williams voices the Genie.

In the UK, a veteran film critic is under fire for opining that Williams made a lot of bad movies and was addicted to “saccharine, tooth-rotting sentimentality.”

Barry Norman, in a column for the Radio Times, also said the actor’s talent “could sometimes be spread so thinly as to be almost invisible.”

Norman, 80, wrote: “Every actor makes bad films occasionally but what was remarkable about Williams was not that he was so good in the good ones but that he was so very bad in the bad ones.”

Williams died early on Aug. 11. A preliminary investigation indicated his death was the result of asphyxia due to hanging.

    He was 63.
